Vocational training

The unit members organize and participate in workshops training or capacity-building for southern partners in Montpellier or abroad.

Continuing vocational training

We welcome researchers from the South in the framework of joint projects or ad hoc collaborations, and we support them in various fields ranging from modelling to data analysis, including the development of protocols for studying regeneration in natural forests.

The specific training "How to increase your chances of being published in an internationally renowned scientific journal?"

aims to support researchers in writing articles and publishing their research to scientific journals. A doctoral student, in order to obtain his or her thesis, must submit 1 to 2 articles to a scientific journal publishing peer-reviewed articles. By knowing the rules governing the structuring of the scientific article, the future researcher and the researcher improve their chances of being published. The training can be used to provide support and expertise to institutions to help research teams promote their work in the form of a scientific report, a scientific poster, an oral presentation of their work or a multimedia presentation.

Hosting of researchers and trainees (excluding degree courses)

Given the very high transaction costs involved in hosting and supervising short courses, this type of activity is marginal in the unit's training activities. They are reserved for actors from the South in the context of complementary professional training or for specific situations.
