Back to School 2014-2015 of Master "Tropical Plant Biodiversity"

The 2014-2015 academic year master BVT took place on September 1 for M1 and September 2 for M2. Charles Doumenge (B & SEF) and Christine Heinz (AMAP) have welcomed the new freshmen. Lessons will begin for M1, on Monday, September 8th with the EU "Professionalization" and for M2, on September 9th with the EU "Valuing biodiversity".

The 2013-2014 academic year is now closed. It is time to take stock of this edition of the course BVT (Tropical Plant Biodiversity). UR B & SEF (Charles Doumenge), UMR AMAP (Christine Heinz and Yves Caraglio) and UMR CEFE (Doyle McKey) have been at the forefront in the master animation and student tracking.

Peat fires in Indonesia: an article in Nature co-written by Bruno Locatelli

Bruno Locatelli (UPR BSEF), attached to CIFOR and currently based in Lima, Peru, has co-published an article about the effects, felt as far as Singapore, of slow burning peat in Sumatra as it can occur for several years after deforestation.

Sarah Audouin defends her thesis in geography on June 12

Sarah Audouin will support on June 12 at 14h, her geography thesis entitled "Innovation and territorial systems: a set of interactions; Examples of cashew and jatropha in southwestern Burkina Faso", carried out under the co-direction of Bernard Tallet (Paris 1) and Laurent Gazull (CIRAD). The defense will take place in room 208, 2 rue Cujas Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, Paris.
